If you have added a new category for your web store products (or Collection if you are using Shopify), this may not immediately show in ChannelUnity, and as such will be unavailable for mapping to a ChannelUnity category.
In order for this to show in CU, a product that is set to this category/collection will need to be synced from your store to ChannelUnity. While a brand new product assigned to this category will bring it through to ChannelUnity, if it;’s only applied to already existing products in ChannelUnity, you will need to run a store sync.
This can be done from the top menu, Setup > Online Stores. From here there will be a green ‘sync’ button.
You will receive a message stating the sync is successful, though this just means that ChannelUnity has successsfully connected with your store and has started the sync process. There is a progress bar for the sync that can be seen on the screen.
The yellow portion of the bar is the progress of the sync. This can take some hours to complete depending on your number of products. Once complete the bar will show a solid green colour (As you see above, it is striped green while in progress)
