Your products are automatically categorised in ChannelUnity when using Shopify’s product taxonomy. The table on this page shows only the Shopify categories that your products are currently assigned to.

Each category has a suggested ChannelUnity category pre-matched to it by ChannelUnity. This suggested match is used when sending your products to connected marketplace channels.

To review or change a mapping:

• Click any row in the table to open the category detail panel.
• The panel shows the suggested match and lets you set your own override.
• Search for any ChannelUnity category and click it to apply your override.
• To remove an override and revert to the suggested mapping, click [ Remove ].

Mapping status colours in the table:
Green — using the suggested ChannelUnity mapping.
Orange — you have set a custom override for this category.
Red — this Shopify category may not be permitted on some marketplaces.
Grey — no mapping available yet (coming soon, or category is too broad).
