This article will show you how to change items in your barcode/EAN/UPC field from scientific notation to a valid 12, 13 or 14 digit number.

This example will be demonstrated in Excel.

To start, open the file that contains your product data and locate the column that contains your UPC information

Select the column that contains that data.

Right click anywhere on that column, and then click Format Cells

This should bring you to a screen that looks like this.

Select: Number > Decimal Places, please the value 0 here > then click “OK”

You will now see that the values now display as correct, full UPCs
