If you’re thinking of moving from Magento 1 to Magento 2 (or already have), there are two ways you can link your new store to ChannelUnity.
The simplest way is to open a new ChannelUnity account and start from afresh.
But if you want to keep your existing ChannelUnity account, we’ve outlined the steps to take in this guide for you.
Before you go through this process, please make sure that your product data in Magento 2 matches what you had in Magento 1 exactly. If there are any differences, your online store products won’t line up with the products on your marketplace, which could cause you to miss out on orders.
Once you’re ready, here are the steps in the order they need to be completed. We’ve included links to guides that will explain how to do each one, and would recommend that you read the guide for step 4 carefully before getting started.
- Log in to ChannelUnity
- Remove all of your marketplace connections
- Remove Magento 1
- Connect to Magento 2
- Reconnect your marketplaces
